EU-China Relations and Connectivity
The Brussels Academy for China and European Studies and the Confucius Institute at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and Egmont, have the pleasure of inviting you to a conference on EU-China relations in the light of connectivity. China’s Belt and Road Initiative is the most prominent example of a global actor pursuing a geo-economic strategy. The EU, however, has been using its economic instruments to pursue its political objectives to great effect for a long time. Its EU-Asia Connectivity Strategy is only the latest development. What does the growing importance of connectivity mean for the future of EU-China relations.
