Bilateral Generic Training (BGT) on Civilian Crisis Management with the German Police in Brühl (15-26 November 2021)

On invitation only

The traditional annual joint training on Civilian Crisis Management will be reconveyed for a two-week training from November 15 to 26 as a way of fostering and sharing a comprehensive approach of Civilian Crisis Management at the European level. With the support of the Belgian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Justice and the Federal Police, the Egmont Institute started a cooperation with the German Police Academy of North-Rhine/Westphalia.

By welcoming both Belgian and German civil servants and police officers to be seconded in civilian crisis management missions, the training aims to provide a deep and complete understanding of CCM in its United Nations framework, but also according to the European Union’s Common Security and Defence Policy and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
