Frank De Coninck
Biography
Frank E. De Coninck (°1945) served as Belgian Ambassador in Rwanda (1994-1997) and Congo-Kinshasa (1997-2000) and as Africa director and Special envoy for Central Africa in 2001. Between 2002 and 2010 he was Grand marshal of the Royal Court and Belgian Ambassador to the Holy See. After formal retirement in 2010 he acted until the end of 2016 as “Special envoy of the Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs for the African Great Lakes Region.
